As we enter the season of Thanksgiving, we pray with Angela Merici’s many expressions of giving thanks to God for everything she was and everything she received from him. The following phrases can be used as prayers during the day.

Angela encourages us to be thankful:

“You must be full of thanksgiving”

“You must thank God heartily”

“How much we should thank God”

Angela reminds us of God’s promises to give all we need:

“Happy are those whom God fills with the light of truth”

“I firmly believe and trust in God’s goodness”

“God alone knows your needs and he can and wants to supply them”

“God desires nothing but your good and your happiness”
