Ursuline Derby Day Race Raffle

How it works

20 horses representing those in the 2012 Kentucky Derby* are available for purchase by "owners." The cost is $200 each. Ideally, all horses will be purchased in advance of Derby Day, May 5.
Each owner will be assigned an Ursuline Sister as a trainer.
Guests interested in friendly wagering at Ursuline Derby Day may purchase a $10 raffle ticket or 3 tickets for $25 associated with a particular horse.
The owner of the winning horse will receive $500.
Win - The person with first ticket drawn from the "winning horse pot" will win $150.
Place - The person with the ticket drawn from the "placing horse pot" will receive $100.
Show - The person with the ticket drawn from the "showing horse pot" will receive $75.

* Horses will be randomly assigned. Owners of scratched horses will forfeit their $200 donation.
