Planning will begin soon for the third annual Ursuline Derby Day: A Benefit for the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland, scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Cleveland Browns Stadium. This year’s event promises to be even more exciting than last year’s Derby Day which raised more than $140,000 for the Ursuline Sisters. Levy Restaurants, official caterers of Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby, will again provide the tasty fare for the evening.

While the action of the actual Kentucky Derby centers on the horse race, Ursuline Derby Day includes a host of fun- and fund-filled activities. The Derby, of course, sets the theme for our gathering. Guests may engage in friendly “wagering,” taking chances on their favorites horses for a shot at prizes of $150, $100 or $75. The evening will again include a live auction, a 50-50 raffle and a raffle featuring a wide variety of themed baskets.

There’s still time to reserve your spot. Complimentary valet parking is available. And don’t forget, hats are encouraged.
