The sisters anticipate keeping a significant portion of their 42 acres of property as green or unbuilt space. This includes plans to permanently preserve 8-10 acres to protect wetlands, trees, wildlife, and plant habitat. We expect that a conservation easement will be the vehicle for that preservation. Experts have evaluated the property and recommended a parcel on the northern end of the property, abutting the backyards of several homes on Windy Hill near the cul-de-sac and bordering the Edgewood Trace development.
The sisters consider this sacred land and have chosen to preserve it for its spiritual significance and its environmental value.
