VA Class of ’79!
On September 15, 2019, we the gals of the Villa Angela class of 1979 had the most special reunion. With the help of Sister Virginia, Angela Graf Quandt and Lucy Manak Borris we had the most wonderful afternoon. The girls met at the Merici Crossings Motherhouse for a sweet time. The girls baked and provided delicious goodies along with a cake. It was good to meet with all the teachers: Sr. Barbara Jean; Sr. Mary Tadsen; Sr. Maureen; Sr. Nancy; Sr. Anne Marie; Sr. Rose Hoge; Sr. Joan Marie; Sr. Virginia; Sr. Mary Ellen and Sr. Jennifer.
After singing our Alma Mater we were treated to a tour of the new home. We shared a lot of laughter and tears . There were no words to explain the emotions each person held so dear.
It is our hope that we may start a tradition of visits with our Sisters. They deserve so much more than a simple thank you.
