When I were young I said, “God makes no sense to me.” So I dismissed his presence and continued on in my dualistic time/space living with myself as the primary mover on earth. Now that I am old I say, “God makes perfect sense. It’s just that I don’t get it, and that’s okay.” So, I reflect and realizethere is a whole realm I am living in where the flow of Spirit is the primary mover.

“Wisdom is the mobility of all movement.

The transparent nothing that pervades all things.

Wisdom is the breath of God

a clear emanation of Divine Glory.

Wisdom is God’s spotless mirror

reflecting Eternal light and the image of Divine goodness.

Although Wisdom is one,

Wisdom does all things. Without leaving Herself.

Wisdom renews all things.” Wisdom 7:24-26

So, what of these terrible disasters, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods etc. Perhaps we, again, dismiss God, blame God, walk away, roll up our sleeves and, search for the dead, rescue what we can, rebuild and heroically help each other.

Have we stopped to ask the earth what and why she is lashing out?

We are killing the earth! Perhaps earth is so precarious, at risk, and unstable that it is just trying to stay alive so she (Mother Earth) is shaking and crying out to us. Perhaps we are on the brink or are already on the path of destruction earth. Maybe earth is saying, “wake up!”

“Know that no matter what you do to me I will continue to give life to you, but I am dying.”

The earth is suffering the passion of Christ!

The same heartbeat lives in the earth that lives in us. Deep down,

beneath your brain, within your human heart is the heartbeat of the

Cosmic Christ. He breathes in us through the Mystery of Spirit. He also

breathes through the earth, sustains it, and is bringing it to Omega, fulfillment.
