The Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland renounce racism and call on all people to create a more just and inclusive way of living in peace with one another. Asian-American racism has no place in our country. We offer prayers to the victims of the Atlanta shootings and their families. The Asian-American racism that we have witnessed is not new, but a reemergence of a long-standing racism and xenophobia toward Asian-Americans, many or whom have lived in the United States for centuries.
