Be the Love that You Are

One of the songs we sing has this refrain: “God is Love and ‘those’ who abide in God, abide in Love.” We are living in a major time of transition and for me it is easy to let fear (false evidence appearing real) take over. The Spiritual leaders of all traditions believe that the Divine by whatever name you call him/her is leading us to a higher level of consciousness for the good of all and of the Universe itself.

In my journey I read The Book of Joy by the Dalai Lama and in it he shared:

A scientifically controlled study conducted by German researchers at the University of Kassel has shown that while the chest area of the average person emits only 20 photons of light per second, someone who meditates on their heart center and sends love and light to others emits an amazing 100,000 photons per second. That is 5000 times more than the average human being. Numerous studies have also shown that when these photons are infused with a loving and healing intent, their frequency and vibration increases to the point where they can literally change matter, heal disease, and transform negative events. I find this so encouraging.

In my last reflection I wrote about the Awakened Heart which helps us stay engaged even when it is difficult. I find practicing the above practices alone and with others helps me stay in (or return to) sending and Being Love. I find ways to do it daily. I believe that is my (our) call today…. To Be the Love that we are!
