“There was as garden near the place Jesus was crucified, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been placed. So because it was the Sabbath preparation for the Jews and the tomb was convenient, they placed Jesus in it.”
~The Message, Peterson
A guided meditation
God in silence after being brutely killed.
God in stillness after being crucified.
We are coming to this space/time again in 2025…that forever Friday afternoon at 3:00 when He cried out and surrendered.
What about us today? We seem to be stuck in the mud of the earth……nailed into everyday matter….the media tells us what we need to know to get more toys, before someone else gets them…we live out of constant scarcity…matter and mind are glorified and yet, all seems barren.
What about Resurrection of the Christ? Maybe we can enter the silence…maybe we can enter the stillness of the convenient tomb and watch and wait with Mary Magdeline energy as we yearn, cry out, search for the fullness of Divine life…life that is richer, deeper…the revelation of surrendered love as it blossoms like the like the daffodils…a whole realm….light…world, that surrounds us, like an ocean of mercy…maybe we can get past the modern illusion that it’s all about toys. …perhaps there is really much more to resurrection than a body resuscitated…maybe our vision has been lost or narrowed….limited.
So we stay, waiting by His tomb in the dark, for the revelation of the Christ of the cosmos, the light….breathing through the earth, sustaining all life in movement. Is the Passion going on in this time and space? Is the earth going through the Passion today?
Just pondering….
