Sister Cynthia joined the community in 1973, and celebrated her Golden Jubilee in 2023. Most of her ministry to date has been in education, with tenures at Beaumont School and Villa Angela Academy and, after completing doctoral studies, teaching at Ursuline College.
Since 2018 she has been ministering as the Director of Archives for the congregation.
In 1996, Sister Cynthia published In the Fullness of Life: A Biography of Dorothy Kazel, OSU. She assisted with second edition, released in 2019 for the 40th anniversary of the martyrdom of the four churchwomen. For the 35th anniversary, she edited In Love, in Faith, in Solidarity: Dorothy, Jean, Carla, Ita, and Maura, an English translation of a 2010 volume edited by Dean Brackley, SJ. To this new work she contributed a biographical essay on Dorothy Kazel and wrote an introduction.
