Biography
(Formerly Sister Maureen David)
Sister Ellen entered the Ursuline congregation in 1965. She taught high school math four years -- first at Beaumont School (1967-1970), then at Villa Angela Academy (1970-1971) -- before moving on to Ursuline College where she taught and worked in the Registrar’s Office. After leaving academia, she ministered in art therapy at the former Sophia Center (1996-2004) and with Cleveland Clinic Hospice before beginning a 13-year tenure in art therapy at Stone Garden. Since 2017, she has provided math tutoring services to students in high school and college, and has supervised art therapy students.
