Biography
Sister Gretchen enjoyed teaching junior high students at St. Ann (Cleveland Heights), St. Francis De Sales (Parma), St. Clare (Lyndhurst), and St. Mary of the Assumption (Mentor) schools. She later served as principal at St. John Bosco (Parma Heights) and St. Anselm (Chesterland) schools. She was honored to return to her alma mater, Beaumont School, to serve first as assistant principal and later as president. Following 43 years in education, she embraced a new profession as a licensed massage therapist. This afforded her an opportunity to provide a healing touch to those she encountered in her office or in her hospice ministry.
