Biography
After teaching at the secondary level for 19 years, at Beaumont School and Villa Angela Academy, Sister Mary Joan began her current ministry as Pastoral Musician at St Ladislas Parish in Westlake. Her ministry is music. She directs 3 choirs and approximately 15 cantors. The Liturgical Choir leads assembly singing for liturgies and other services. The Funeral Choir leads assembly singing at all parish funerals. The Caritas Choir goes to local assisted living facilities and nursing homes to give residents an hour of fun singing. The Cantors lead assembly singing and teach new music.
