Biography

Following her education at St. Ann School and Beaumont School, Dorothy entered the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland and was given Ritamary as her religious name. She has ministered as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent. For 10 years, she served as President of Beaumont School. While serving in the congregation’s development office, she accepted the challenge of directing the Capital Campaign to secure funding for the construction of Merici Crossings, the Ursulines’ new residence. In 2020, her Ursuline sisters elected her congregational President. She remains deeply committed to the Ursulines’ mission of transforming lives through Contemplation, Justice and Compassion.
