Biography

Sister Susan spent the first half of her ministry career in classroom education, teaching primary grades at St. William, St. Therese, St. Charles, St. Joseph (Avon Lake), Urban Community, Immaculate Conception (Cleveland) and St. Patrick (West Park) schools.

Seeking to provide support to parents in passing on the faith, she founded and directed Faith: Crib to Classroom, a faith formation program for parents and their pre-school-age children.

In 2007, following a tenure as Director of Comprehensive Care Center, an AIDS Clinic in Youngstown, Sister Susan returned to Cleveland and established Ursuline Piazza, HIV/AIDS Services. She continues to serve as its Executive Director.
