The Companions of Marie are sisters and laywomen who gather as a faith-sharing group. They are inspired by the life and writings of St. Marie of the Incarnation, the first Ursuline Sister to come to North America. Marie was a wife, mother, businesswoman, missionary, and mystic. She learned how to keep a busy, active schedule and how to create space in her life for deep prayer with God. The Companions meet four times a year to support each other as they apply Marie’s teachings to their own lives.

The goal of the Mission and Heritage Commission is to introduce members to the spirituality and charism of St. Angela Merici, to assist them in deepening their awareness of her unique Gospel living, and to encourage personal integration and action of the core values of Justice, Contemplation and Compassion.
Angela Circles are small groups of lay women and men who come together once a month to study the life and spirituality of St. Angela Merici, and engage in related action. For more information contact: Sister Joanne Buckman, jbuckman@ursulinesisters.org or 440 229-5631.
