Biography

Sister Lois Buck entered the Ursuline community In 1981.

She began her teaching career as a special education teacher, and eventually used her skills with children by starting the Cardinal’s Nest, a respite ministry for families with special needs children.

In 2010, Sister Lois began teaching and guiding teachers in Ursuline College’s Master Apprenticeship Program about the requirements and regulations needed for accreditation.

In 2016, she was invited to become director of the pre-school at St. Aloysius School in Cleveland. Where she worked with 3-5 year-olds, exposing them to language and math skills, introducing them to the wonders of reading books.

Sister currently serves at Saint Anselm School as the assistant principal.
